All right! Finally a good picture comes from me! wow, it's been so long.... last thing i remember was saying "ok, I'm off to college!" ....
anyways, I'm glad i can at least come back every now and then and upload something that has really made my happy to draw.... that's what art is really all about... and I've discovered that now... anyways, I don't think I've ever done a real picture of Vox in my anthro form, so i decided it was about time to work on my costume and get it all done... after a few long hours of brainstorming, i decided on all the details of what it should look like... it turned out very much like the Air Force.. but that's kinda what i was going for... since I'm a sky pilot... i even designed a helmet to wear (lol, but I forgot to include ear wholes xD) anyways, I've really enjoyed this pic, and i hope you do too! It's currently set up as my background... and if any of you are interested, tell me your resolution and I can make this into a background for you..... i really do like how the "old" look came out on this one... it was so much different than my normal art with hard lines and deep and rich colors.... Time: a few hours.... Inspiration: none really... i just wanted to draw something good.... done in September of 2009 with Pencil and photoshop on a drawing tablet Character and art copyright me! Critiques
One thing that really seems to stick out is the nice use of the faded look as you described. The colors are amazingly well done and have a nice subtlety in the clothes. The design on the jacket looks creative and looks full without being overly detailed. All in all, you have done a great job on this and have improved greatly over the time that you've posted your work here, and keep up the good work.
